ADAPTOGENS & Elixirs

At Cafe Jazzy Rose, our elixirs are crafted for more than just flavor. We utilize Adaptogens, nature’s botanicals, to create a drinking experience that honors both the palate and the person.

Why Adaptogens? Unlike traditional spirits that can deplete the body, adaptogenic elixirs are functional. They work with your natural biology to soothe the nervous system, sharpen the mind, and elevate the mood.

The Experience: You’ll find no hangovers here, only the prelude to a better state of being. Whether you're looking to find your social flow or decompress after a long day, our curated botanical blends are designed to help you find your center.

What are Adaptogens?

Adaptogens are nature’s most resilient botanicals. They're herbs, roots, and fungi that have evolved to thrive in harsh conditions. When infused into our elixirs, they offer that same resilience to you. Unlike a temporary caffeine spike, these "biological thermostats" work with your body’s internal systems to manage the ebb and flow of stress, gently guiding you back to a state of equilibrium.

To earn the title of an adaptogen, a plant must meet a criteria: it must be non-toxic, offer holistic support to the entire body, and actively help you return to your natural center. At Cafe Jazzy Rose, we’ve traded the hangover for harmony.

What Adaptogens Does CJR Feature?

 Three Spirit

Three Spirit designed their drinks to follow the timeline of a night out. Each one uses different adaptogens to achieve a specific social goal.

  • The Livener (The Party Starter)

    • Adaptogens/Active Ingredients: Guayusa (natural caffeine), Schisandra, and Panax Ginseng.

    • The Benefit: This is the high-energy choice. Schisandra is an adaptogen often called the five-flavor fruit that helps with mental clarity and physical endurance. Combined with the natural lift of Guayusa, it creates a buzzy, social energy without the jitters of a double espresso.

  • The Social Elixir (The Conversation Maker)

    • Adaptogens/Active Ingredients: Lion’s Mane Mushroom, Damiana, and Tulsi (Holy Basil).

    • The Benefit: This is perfect for the curated debut. Lion’s Mane is a nootropic that supports focus and social flow, while Tulsi is a heavy-hitting adaptogen that lowers cortisol (the stress hormone). It’s designed to make guests feel connected, relaxed, and chatty.

  • The Nightcap (The Dreamy Finish)

    • Adaptogens/Active Ingredients: Valerian Root, Ashwagandha, and Hops.

    • The Benefit: This is the ultimate wind-down drink. Ashwagandha is the world’s most famous adaptogen for calming the nervous system. Valerian and Hops are traditional botanicals that signal the body it's time to relax. It’s moody and mellow.

 The Pathfinder

While Three Spirit is about specific moods, The Pathfinder Hemp & Root is modeled after 19th-century apothecaries. It’s an Amaro-style elixir that is intensely complex.

  • Active Ingredients: Fermented & Distilled Hemp, Wormwood, Angelica Root, and Ginger.

  • The Adaptogenic Vibe: Hemp: While non-psychoactive (no THC), hemp is rich in terpenes and antioxidants that provide a grounding, calming effect on the body.

    • Wormwood & Angelica: These are bitter botanicals. In herbal traditions, bitters are functional for digestion. They wake up the palate and the gut, making this the perfect aperitif to serve before food.

    • Ginger & Sage: These provide a warming, anti-inflammatory glow that mimics the heat of a typical spirit, helping the brain register the experience as a potentially familiar cocktail.
